Radeon HD 7770 Crossfire

I have a Radeon HD 7770, and I want to crossfire. The R7 250X recently came out and I noticed that it is a rebranded 7770. I was wondering, can I crossfire my 7770 with the R7 250X, since they are basically the same card?

The 7770 is stronger from what I understand, just try to get a 2nd one of them.

You can, because both cards belong to the Cape Verde processor family. Although I'm really not sure how effective it will be when compared to just the two 7770's as chargeit said they do vary slightly.

So, you're saying that the fact that the R7 250 doesn't need one over rides the 7770 needing one? Cool. Didn't realize that.

I may be wrong. I thought the 7750s and 7770s could both CF through PCI Bus, but I am seeing that they have a CF connection.

Yea, I checked a chart that said the HD 7770 needed a Crossfire bridge. I also haven't seen any reference to a 7770/R7 250 being crossfired.

Interesting... Well I read this and they managed to get two 7770's working without a bridge.

This might be the case with the r7 250 but it isn't worth the risk of it not working. Obviously your best bet is to find another 7770, rather than the r7 250.

i have a r7 250 that i want to crossfire with HD 7770, but the 250 is oland architecture, so i cant crossfire them right?
