I have a older HP 3500 that I am trying to upgrade with 500W Ps SSD card installed 16 GB ram and a Radon HD 7850.
The unit is not recognizing the GPU card not showing up in manager even under hidden devices.
Some suggested changing Bios doesn't appear any way I found to change Bios only update.
I am older person and wanted something for Flight Sims so I don't need powerful unit.
HP Pro 3500
D3k31UT#ABA
Intel Pent G2120
AMI 8.17 10/25/2013 I did remove battery so that may have changed.
Does the mother board have capability to recognize this card I read where HP may have problem with installing GPU card due to graphics on motherboard and
warranty issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try checking the BIOS for any setting that enables or disables PCIe slots and PCIe devices (things like the graphics card) or check for a setting that allows you to turn on or off certain graphics adapters and if there is any settings in there for that, make sure the PCIe slot and the graphics card are not disabled by any of these settings.
