Radeon HD 7870 crossfire problem

Hi, I have some problems with crossfire setup.

I bought another Sapphire HD 7870, but the new one is XT with Boost edition.

The old one is Sapphire HD 7870 GHz edition.

The problem is, I can't install the driver for the new one.

In device manager, it only shown as "Standard VGA Adapter" even when i run the new one alone.

I have the latest CCC.

I have prob like u when first bought this GC, dont use official 12.10 driver coz it cant detect your this GC correctly due to this gc is too new in market. I just use the beta driver from amd v12.11. This driver will detect your GC, but after that, u can check your hardware using HWinfo to get the correct result. Dont use GPU-z coz it will detect your card only have 128bit and 0MB ddr5 ram.

Thanks. But, another problem occur.

I can't get crossfire enabled.

In HWinfo, it only shows the details of the master GPU, for the other GPU, it just shows core clock and speed

Do you know how to solve this?

try install beta driver for both gpu. Maybe it will solve this prob.
