Radeon HD 7950 heats up to 53C when watching HD Youtube vids for 3 Hours

Is this normal? I wouldn't think it would heat up this much. Specs in signature

It's normal. Watching .mp4 files require GPU to decode it, and 53 C isn't that high anyway, so it would be like a somewhat load temperature.

What "IDontUnderstand" said. No need to worry. Unless it's hitting upwards of 85 Celsius at load or close to that at idle, you should be fine.

Good to know. Just overprotective of my PC as I burnt out one of my graphics cards from overheating last year. MSI Afterburner + HWinfo64 FTW
