Radeon HD 8000 Series

Hi guys, I am in the process of buying computer parts to build my own PC little by little and I am almost at the Graphics card. I was searching around and heard rumors of the 8000 series coming out soon (some say October, some December). I was wondering if it would be worth it to wait or if to get the following card:

It states HD8850 = $229 and HD8870 = $299. Now i know these are possible rumors, but I imagine the lower end graphic cards from the 8000 series to be around these prices anyhow. Would even the lower end 8000 series graphics card be worthwhile to wait for?

Please let me know your thoughts on if it is worth waiting and if you have any guess on when they will be out !

that's old new's the 8000 series is exlusivly for mobile, the new series will be the 9000 series which you can read about here http://www.gamefront.com/amd-radeon-hd9000-october-2013/ it states they should be releasing sometime October so I guess you might as well wait

*Gasp* I am so wrong in so many ways lol. So basically the cheapest of the new series will still be better than the 7950?

Specs are still to be revealed, but I would definitely expect decent improvement in performance over equivalent 7xxx series.
