Radeon HD7870 not powering down

Hi guys

My HD7870 no longer powers down to 2D settings (300/150) and stays at gaming levels of core and memory at 1050Mhz/1200Mhz regardless. This causes quite high power consumption. Catalyst settings are not set to start at start up.

Any ideas on how to rectify this?

Solved my own problem with a simple re-install of Catalyst Drivers. Everything now running as it should

UPDATE

Seems I spoke too soon

Went out for a couple of hours, and on booting up, the GPU has reverted to full power
