Hello guys! Like the title says, I have a Radeon HP HD 7570 2GB graphic cards on my Gateway DX4870 with Windows 8.1 64 bit. The problem is that every time that I install this video card, the screen goes black/blank/dark not even showing the bios. In the other hand, this video card works perfectly if I install the same video card on my Lenovo computer. I was trying to disable the PCIE slot to boot from the integrated video card until I install the proper drivers or I could trouble shoot the video card directly from Windows. However, the Gateway DX4870 does not give that option. I really would like this card to work for my system. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Did you change the psu or do you use the 300 watt one?

I actually have a VIO 450watts PSU

Yes. I even tried it using two monitors, one plugged to the card HDMI and the other one to the VGA and nothing happened.

I have a VIO 450w psu. In the other computer I have a 350w Diablotek PSU

I removed the 4 memory rams from the motherboard and installed them back on with the card on but the problem is the same.

I tried swapping PSU with the other PC but the graphic card did not work on the Gateway. I also tried swapping the 450w psu from the Gateway on the Lenovo computer and the video card worked on the Lenovo.

I was analyzing the two computers and the only difference between them is that the Lenovo came with an OEM Windows 8 and Gateway came with Win7. I installed the Windows 8 later. Would the UEFI booting have something to do with the problem??

There is not a option to able or disable the PCIE slot on the bios... I already try this.. It seems that the PCIE slot automatically chooses the PCIE graphic card when installed...

I tried installing a friends' 6750 video card and it worked just fine on the Gateway. This card uses the same 6xxx driver series of the 6570 which was later on renamed as 7570. After installing all the drivers for the 6750, I installed the 7570 again but it did not work. This 7570 card has not worked yet on my Gateway.
