Does someone know what is the equivalent of the Radeon R7 240 GDDR3 from the older generations in terms of performance? Does it perform like the HD 6670 GDDR3 or worse? I know this card is really slow, but it's really cheap in my country (even cheaper than in the US). I know I can get something more powerful for a little bit more, but I need to save for a pretty long time for such card. Also, if I get something more powerful I will experience a bottleneck by my CPU (Intel E5300), and my gaming experience will be laggish. Thanks.

The R7 240 GDDR3 is very similar to the HD 6670 GDDR3 in performance overall. But the R7 240 seems to come out on top quite well more often than not depending on the specific game (see the link below for specific game benchmarks). Get the GDDR5 model if you can, unless it's as pricey as a R7 250.

The difference between the R7 240 and the HD 6670 GDDR3 will be bigger in Mantle supported games, right? I have a slow CPU, so it should help a little bit. And I can't find a GDDR5 model anywhere. Thanks for the help.

Battlefield 4 uses mantle & the R7 240 comes out ahead in the benchmarks linked. But that is if they had mantle enabled, they don't say. Not sure how big of an impact it will have on a lower end card like the 240, but yeah, it's an advantage over the HD 6670 GDDR3.

A Nvidea mobile GPU is the equivalent to a Nvidea GT 630M and a Nvidea desktop graphics card would be a Nvidea GT 640. As scampi said, the AMD radeon 6670 will have similar performance. And an AMD mobile GPU would be performing like an AMD radeon 7750m. Hope some of this helped

I personnaly would recommend the r7 250 because its very slightly more expensive and from what I've seen there's a much bigger improvement even in 1080p gaming (probably due to the GDDR5 memory)
