My problem is I`ve had this card for a while now and it has been doing fine. The problem started the other day when I came accross quite a few posts that stated the onboard graphics should be disabled when a graphics card is inserted into a PCIe port. I checked a few of my games and found the game`s settings were registering the onboard graphics, not the PCIe slot card. I then went into my Bios and disabled the onboard graphics. Back in the game`s settings the game now registers the PCIe card as it should. That was yesterday, and the PC gets shut down every night, I make sure of that. This morning my brother goes to play his DayZ game through steam and the PC shuts off completely with no warning, no shutting down screen, nothing. It was as though it lost power. Upon turning the PC back on it gave one long beep, and 3 short beeps. Which, from the Gigabyte motherboard website, points to the PCIe graphics card as the problem. I unplugged the card and reset the CMOS battery. Now I`m back to onboard graphics, and everytime I even plug the PCIe card into power the PC won`t boot at all. Not even into the Bios screen. What is happening? Is it the card going bad, because it`s practically brand new?
