Radeon R9 270x DIV Display Issue

I just bought a new graphics card for my pc, the fans turn on and the computer makes no beeps when it boots up. Also i didn't remove the previous cards drivers before I installed the new one. When I turn on the computer it says "no signal found" on the monitor.

Make sure you are connected properly. Make sure you are using the correct cable to connect the monitor to the PC. And make sure that your graphics card is properly installed. The fans are going because it's getting power, it might not be plugged into the PCI-e slot properly though. And does your PC normally make a beeping noise on start up? You may be overusing the PSU. Do those things and then check back in.

The card is indeed properly seated, I'm using a DVI cable so it doesn't seem like that's the issue. Also when i unplug the DVI cable from the computer the monitor says that no cable is plugged in, although while it's plugged in the monitor just says no signal then goes into "sleep?" mode. When it does this the blue light flashes on and off (Bottom right of the monitor above the power button." I doubt i'm overusing the PSU because it's a 600 watt, and from what I've read online it should only need a minimum of 500.

I think the issues could be drivers or I've read that updating the mobo could fix the issue.
If you need any additional information I can look up some more detailed information about my PC. Thank!

Hey SovietFrank. I have the same problem with my radeon r9 270x top II, have you found any way to fix this problem?

Well seeing that evoxi is having the same problem it may just be the graphics card itself, if you can, use another port on the graphics card, I would suggest a HDMI to DVI cable to do this, it's what I use and it's faster then DVI, you can pick them up at your local bestbuy or radio shack for pretty cheap. If that works then it may just be something to do with the 270x's DVI port.

I also going to try to install an BIOS update for H61MA-d2v motherboard. In F6 version it says that some upgrades was added that can fix the x16 graphics card problem or what ever it is called .

Guys! I know how to fix this problem, just made it by myself. (first of all, sorry for my sucky english..). Ok so what I did was:

Updated my BIOS to the newest version.

After that I removed my old card's drivers.

Installed the new card <- and here comes the important thing. Everyone is thinking that when you hear this "click!" sound that comes out of MOBO when you press your graphics card in, is good, but not this time. R9 card's are fu**ed up. You have to press them very very hard in, and you have to do the same progress with all cabels connected to the graphics card. After you heard the "click!" sound, don't stop but dont break the mobo..
(Btw. when you press the card in, you should hold your case with one of your hand on the back of your case where you have MOBO so nothing will break. Also if that doesn't help, try to exchange the 6 pin cables. I had to do that too.)

After that, if all works fine. You have to install the drivers and reboot your system.
