Radeon R9 270X temperature ranges?

I have a Radeon R9 270X (Sapphire OC Edition 4 GB to specific) and I was wondering if 70-75 degrees celsius is too hot for it while playing Rust on max settings or Battlefield 4 with max settings. Is 70-75 good? The frame rate is high and the graphics look great. Just wondering if that's too hot for it. While it's on idle (such as right now), it's 25-30 degrees. Thanks.

Those are perfectly fine temps at load. GPUs go near 100C before they start to throttle.

If your CPU is hitting 100c then it's going to be a short time before you need a new one. 70-75 is good, but I personally wouldn't let it run above 80c if it can be avoided. Most likely you can simply turn shadows down one notch and drop 5c off your temps. Long term running mid 80s+ is going to wear it down significantly faster. If you have the money and are thinking of upgrading then sure go for, get max use out of it until it dies.. if you can't upgrade for a while then just be a little careful. I have a 270x i'm replacing any minute now. I run it at 1130mhz which is a +100mhz base oc and have yet to see a single scenario where I had to hurt myself visually to cool the card when it start pushing to 80c. I just hit pause turn 1 or 2 things down from ultra or high just one notch and now i'm back in 75c and below territory. I've had it almost 3 years of normal usage while having a constant overclock and typically running it between 70 to 77c.
