Hey there, having some problems with my gpu at the minute. After 2 or 3 hours of playing games, the gpu will crash, and will not send a signal to the monitor. The PC will stay on and be sent to the BIOS. After this happens it will continuingly crash until I leave it for a few hours and the same thing will happen after a few hours of gametime.

My specs are:
- AMD Radeon R9 295X2 1018MHz 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0 HDMI
- X99-S
- Intel Core i7-5820K
- 16GB DDR4 Vengeance LPX Supreme
- H100i Liquid Cooling system
- AX1200i 1200W Digital ATX Power Supply 80 PLUSE Platinum
- 1tb Seagate HDD

I have searched around and could only find a few forum posts related to the R9 295x2 and this issue, and found one here on Toms Hardware were the OP had the same problem, but the thread was never answered.

I have tried a Bios update and almost every possible driver update new or old that I could find, I have tried using the card in other slots etc. with no luck. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions or advice they would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
I'm afraid your research has been right, there is no solution other than send it back for repair or replacement, I did that with both of my 295x2s and now it is working, for now. That's just a manufacturing flaw with the 295x2, each card has it's own problem, this is it's main problem. But other than send it back for repair, you could try getting a different display port cable, sometimes cables die or is defective.

Solution
Hmm that's unfortunate then. I have Corsair Link running when I play games and the GPU never reaches above 70 degrees. Nothing is overclocked. So both of your R9 295x2's were faulty? That seems like a big issue if so.

Yeah, I think all of the 295x2s have this issue, brand doesn't matter.
