Hi guys,
I have a strange issue.
I just bought a Gigabyte Radeon R9 380 4GB PCIe3 video card and it seemed to work well. When I use my pc for basic things like browsing there is no problem (I'm using it with the max resolution 1920x1080) but when I start a game then my pc just shut down... like when the electricity goes off.
It looks like a power issue, but I'm not sure. I bought today another power supply, it's a 750W one (I have had only a 650W power supply before) and when I started the game it looked okay then I turned a few more settings for maximum and the power supply has "exploded".. just died.
This website (http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator) shows that I should have enough power (450W should be enough).
Any suggestions?

My hardwares:
Gigabyte Radeon R9 380 4GB PCIe3.0 VGA
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 PCIe2.0 Motherboard
2x 8GB DDR3 RAM
1 Winchester
1 DVD RW
AMD FX-6100 3,8 GH
Network card
3 Fans
and currently 650W

The Alpes 750W only has a 38 amp +12V rail according to this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/750w-alpine-alpine-750w-non-modular-uncertified-1x120mm-fan-atx-v203-psu
That is too small for a 750W, which leads me to believe it is a cheaply made unit. What we call a fake. That and the fact that it is uncertified makes it a unit that should not even be sold (IMO).

If this is your 650W Ace: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/650w-ace-black-non-modular-uncertified-1x120mm-red-fan-atx-v23-psu
...it too is a fake 650W with its 2 x tiny 18 amp +12V rails and single six pin connector.

If you are going to run a serious gaming card ike the R9-380, you are going to have to spend some money and get a high-quality PSU. This is an example of a real...
Sounds like you may be using low-end, low-quality PSUs. What are the makes and models of the PSUs?
A high-quality 650W PSU with a 6 and 8 pin connector is the minimum recommended most of the time. Cheap PSU's never live up to their specs. And you can't just go by total wattage. The current capacity and wattage of the +12V rail(s) is what is most important.

The 750W power supply was an Alpes. This is which I could get from the first shop and also their last one.
My 650W power supply is an Ace.
Both has a 6 pin VGA connector but my VGA works with an 8 pin Connector and I have ordered an adaptor (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009WMB5RO?ref_=pe_385721_37038051_TE_3p_dp_1)
Hope this helps.

Solution
Both pictures right.
I have been in another shop and they offered me their best PSU... a Cooler Master B700 (RS-700-ACAB-D3).
I didn't try it out yet but it seems good. It can do 55A at 660W and it has an 8 pin PCIe connector as well. So definitely looks better than what I have now.
If it won't work then I'm going to order one of what you offered.
Thank you
