Radeon R9 390 8GB vs the GTX 780 TI

Which one of these is the better card and how much better is the 390 over the 780 TI? I have the 780 TI already and was seeing was the 390 a good upgrade?

The 390 will beat a 780 ti in most situations. However, not by much, if at all. I would recommend a stronger gpu if you are considering an upgrade.

The 390 actually places behind the 780Ti at 1080p, and just marginally ahead at 1440p.

I would only recommend the 980Ti, unless you are planning on 4k.
I consider an upgrade to be at least a 30% improvement, only the 980Ti is capable of this.
