I am truly at my wits end, been having these same recurring issues with Relive since I bought my Radeon card almost a year ago and have literally tried every method under the sun to fix them.

Issue number 1: Recording.
Every time I enable game capture through the Relive software and try to record a game it works fine, however, if I close the game and launch it again, Relive refuses to detect the game is running and will not allow me to capture it, I have to restart my whole PC for Relive to then work with that game again. No matter what I do with the Relive settings, it will only allow me to record again if I restart my PC (which is infuriating). But by far the most irritating thing about this is that only I seem to have this problem? Research it yields little no results.

Issue number 2: Audio in the recordings.
First off, this isn't a mic or headset or audio driver issue, as they are all updated and I have tried several different mics and they all do it - I've pretty much narrowed this down to being an issue with Relive. Basically, when I record games (assuming Relive wants to work), the game audio is delayed by complete random amounts, so recordings the audio might be 2 seconds behind, some might be 15 seconds delayed. In some recordings my mic will come out really choppy and distorted? It's almost as if it's complete random, nothing specific triggers these things to happen, they just occur without reason in my recordings.

Like I said, I've tried everything I can think of, all the basics and I've even reinstalled windows to no effect. Any help would be appreciated. Below are my system specs:

i7 7700k
Sapphire RX480 8GB nitro+
16gb DDR4 Hyperx Ram
Asus mobo of some kind (at work, can't remember the specifics)
250gb ssd
2tb hdd
650w superflower psu

I use Hyperx Cloud 2 headset for most of my recordings.

I assume "tried everything" includes installing the latest AMD drivers? In my experience before switching to Nvidia recently, the last ReLive driver I tried finally worked acceptably. Granted they had a problem with sputtering audio for a while, and I also had issues with the hotkey for saving an instant replay not working. Then they finally came out with one which if you enabled mic audio in ReLive, it would stop the audio distortion. However there was still a problem with audio distortion if you use a mic. So if you haven't tried that tweak and are not using a mic, try it.

The hotkeys worked fine last time I tried ReLive though, and the truth is, in just 2 years of development, ReLive has more features now than ShadowPlay, which has...

The hotkeys worked fine last time I tried ReLive though, and the truth is, in just 2 years of development, ReLive has more features now than ShadowPlay, which has been in development 5 years. Also, at the time I bought my GTX 1080 a few months ago, ReLive was also working better than ShadowPlay. For several months ShadowPlay was having a problem with Instant Replay clips freezing and pixelating when you play them back. We were complaining about it on the GeForce forums and no one from Nvidia was answering except to say they didn't have enough info.

Finally they listed it as an Open Issue (not fixed) on their driver release notes for 2 or 3 drivers after, and then it was finally fixed. They will not publicly acknowledge such problems or let you know they are being worked on though. You simply have to thoroughly check the release notes of each driver. I find this to be very insulting to their customers, whom spend a hell of a lot of money on their products. They claim they care and have dedicated driver teams, but don't show it in their lack of presence and vagueness on the GeForce community forums. It's literally like trying to pull teeth just getting them to respond, and when they do, they don't say anything helpful.
