Is radeon relive compatible with the amd r7 250. I have installed the latest update. The problem I have with relive is that when I press record, I see a box that shows its recording, and in a second it goes away. Can you tell me what the problem is?

Last night I was prompted to install ReLive on my FirePro M6100, which is a GCN 1.1 part. I have not actually tested it yet though. So perhaps AMD is prompting owners of non-compatible GPUs to download it. Smooth move...

Good research, Ishan_3. My FirePro M6100 (equivalent to a Radeon 8950M) and your R7 250 both seem to be supported, so I'm not sure why you're having problems. I'll play with it tonight when I get home from work and see if works with my older hardware.

I sent an email to AMD. I am hoping they can help, but do tell me what happens when you test relive.

I tried it out this evening and met with some success. Mass Effect 1 was a complete failure. But I managed to record a few minutes of Dragon Age: Inquisition by running the game in "Windowed Full Screen" mode and turning on the "Record Desktop" option in ReLive settings. ME1 probably failed due it not having a windowed mode.

As an amusing aside, I discovered that the webcam in my M6600 has a rather bright LED it shines in your face when recording. Never even knew it was there...

This at least proves that compatibility is not a problem. The reason why ME1 failed might be because of the gpu horse power. Your GPU was not a able to handle recording and game play at the same time. Anyways, thanks!

No, I doubt it was because ME1 was too demanding. ME1 is an eight year old game that is anything but demanding by today's standards. More likely it's because it's so old, or maybe because I have an ENB installed, or the full screen thing. And Inquisition is much more demanding...

Anyway, it seems like it should work with your card, so I'm not sure what the problem might be. Let us know if you hear back from AMD.
