Hello. My Sapphire Radeon RX 460 stopped working recently.
My pc was starting up but the screen would not come on. I replaced the graphics card and it worked perfectly.
I've been trying to see if I could get it to work and one time after many tries it worked once with the RX 460. It booted to windows and worked fine but after shutting down the PC and powering it up the next day it was back to not working.
I noticed one of the gold contacts for the part that goes into the Pci express slot, on both sides, is chipped, image below.

Is it worth replacing the thermal pads and thermal paste?
Any ideas?
