Question Radeon rx 470 asus strix 4Go crashing

Hi, i've recently bought a midrange pc gamer with these specs :
used rx 470 4Go asus strix
I7 4790k 4Ghz
8 Go RAM 1600Mh
Psu 400 watt
Os windows 10 64bit
All drivers and the system are updated
I have big issues with my graphic card it shows often artifacts and sometimes system crash or freeze or black screen for 2 seconds and sometimes turns to bleue screen with erreur msg and only when gaming i have tried old drivers but nothing changed the problem isn't in drivers and when i have tried furmark to stress gpu sometimes it holds even in high temperature such as 73C but often it doesn't hold even in the low temperatures which means it is not the heating issue
I'm using msi afterburner for monitoring and checking out the stability and i feel confused because the gpu power usage doesn't pass 10w on idle and 95w on full load and if i changed power limit to 25% on msi the gpu draws around 115w in full loading but just for second then the screen crash or freeze.....
Does anyone had this issue and how to solve this?

What's the Model Number/brand of this PSU ? So you have a second hand GPU ? How old is the card ? Artifacts could be sometimes a sign of some GPU VRAM corruption issue (or maybe PSU), though we can't jump on any conclusion so soon.

Your current RAIDMAX PSU seems to be the culprit here, If I'm not mistaken. Most of the Raidmax units fall under the lower TIER category of PSU list, and they are usually not recommended for Gaming PCs, IMO. I would AVOID using this unit. Not the very best in terms of quality, a fire hazard.

Please grab yourself some other high-quality Tier PSU model. Don't skimp on the PSU, since this is the MOST important component of any PC.

As a general rule, any cheap generic/standard low-end PSU is prone to failure soon, than the units made by reputed brands like SEASONIC, Corsair, BE QUIET, EVGA Supernova, PC Power & Cooling, ANTEC , XFX, Super Flower, OCZ, just to name a few (depending on the OEM though).

The OEM also matters a lot, instead of the actual PSU brand. I've seen PSUs labelled as 1K watts, but in actual real world scenarios, they can hardly pull 400 Watts from the wall, even under full load.

I've always given the topmost priority to PSU when building any RIG, and I mostly go for Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 units, because we know a TITANIUM/Platinum/Gold PSU is going to be much more efficient under 50% load, than a bronze/silver or a generic 80 plus certified PSU. But the exact Wattage requirement still varies from system to system, and if we plan to Overclock the GPU/CPU, then the PSU should have some headroom as well.

Actually, there are too many PSU models, so sometimes it's kind of hard to recommend a particular unit. But check the following links. If you can get similar PSU models as listed below, then it would be nice. But we are assuming here that your current PSU is indeed the full culprit here, not the GPU itself, so that's why you are replacing it. My doubt is still on the RAIDMAX PSU model though.
