I was planning on making an all-AMD build with an Asus ROG Strix Radeon RX 570 as my GPU. I was going to buy a Freesync Monitor in order to take advantage of this technology. Should I do this or should I get a GTX 1060? Will the freesync even be a noticeable factor in performance?

Solution
The 570 is really a 1080p 60hz card, at least in modern and demanding games. So I don't think you'll be dealing with enough vsync related issues to make freesync useful to you. If I had the choice I'd rather spend money on a higher quality monitor rather paying for freesync. Then you're free to choose the best card for your budget.
