Will the Radeon Rx 580 8gb Red dragon be able to run the monitor I have at its 2560x1440 resolution at its 144hz? That is all that I really plan to upgrade till the release of Intel’s 9 th gen cpu. Looking to run games like WWE 2K18 , 2k19 , 2K20 , so on of the WWE series , Titan Fall 2 , Sims 4 , GTA , MMOs like WOW , Runescape , Star Trek Online , DC universe online , Monster Hunter Online on this build.

So there is no AMD solution right now that can run my monitor at its full potential? Is it possible to use a Nvidia Video card with a Freesync monitor and get what i am looking for?

Unfortunately that seems to be the case since RX Vega 56 (supposed to be $399 at launch, and then $499) is so expensive right now.

I've been using a GTX 1070 with my 1080p 144Hz FreeSync monitor and it has worked good for me. I also have a 4K FreeSync monitor and it had screen tearing, but enabling Nvidia Fast Sync got rid of that.

But the GTX 1070 costs quite a bit more than it should right now.

Given the games you mentioned the RX 580 8GB should be a good choice I would think. The only demanding game you listed is GTA and maybe TitanFall 2.

Should i get the PowerColor Rx 580 Red Devil Gold or go with another version? My psu is a Cooler Master V850.

So i will go with the Red Devil Gold , but i am wondering with my build will i have enough power (850 watt PSU) to run it smoothly.
