[SOLVED] Radeon RX580 or GTX 1660?

The Radeon RX580 is very cheap in my country at the moment. Some shops are selling Gigabyte 8GB cards at 140$-145$. On the other hand, even the cheapest Nvidia GTX 1660 cards are being sold for 220$-250$, while the 1650 is selling for 190$.


This should be a no-brainer, but I'm currently stuck on deciding which one I'll buy. I've heard that Radeon cards have bad software support and bla bla bla.

By the way, I'm buying them primarily for 1080P gaming. So which one should I buy?

Edit: Just checked. Jesus Christ, MSI models of 1660 Ti are selling for 390$!!

I see. By the way, should I wait for Radeon RX 5500 or 5600? I've been waiting for a while, but currently it looks like they're fated for an arrival in January.

I can only guess those cards are marketed toward rivaling 1660/1660s/Ti and probably around the same price point. Id probably wait for advanced features.
