It starts running at the beginning of start-up but then crashes, I guess, because the icon for it disappears. And ever time I try to open it back up, it starts loading and then suddenly stops, I've tried uninstalling all of the drivers using the AMD cleanup utility and then doing a fresh install, but the problem persists even after that. What do?

Solution
Are you using Crimson or Catalyst driver package? Double check and make sure that you downloaded the correct driver for your specific AMD video card/GPU. Remove the existing driver and control center with DDU ( http://www.wagnardmobile.com/?q=display-driver-uninstaller-ddu- ) and try reinstalling the driver. To get the correct driver, go to AMD's website ( http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ) and first try the automated detection routine and install that driver. If that fails, run DDU again, then try going back to the same page and manually selecting your GPU and OS.

I guess. The icon shows up for a bit in the hidden icons panel, and then it disappears. If I click on the AMD Settings icon in my start menu, it does the same thing. Loads for a bit, but ultimately does nothing. I also don't have any kind of option to bring it up when I right click my screen.

I personally have an Nvidia card in my rig so I can't give any firsthand experience, but have built systems with AMD cards in them... Just making sure you also tried reinstalling the program itself correct?

The program itself? What do you mean? I downloaded the beta drivers and installed all that it gave me an option to, minus the gaming evolved thing or w/e it's called.

EDIT: Just tried it with the non-beta drivers and it still isn't working properly.

Just had this problem again after trying the newest AMD update. However, found a solution: updating the Intel Graphics drivers to version 25.20.100.6519 (only other thing I updated was Intel Rapid Storage drivers to version 14.8.16.1063 but I doubt that was the issue).
