Question Radeon vega rx 64- low fps

this is my rig

i5-6400 cpu @ 2.70GHz
Sapphire radeon vega rx 64 nitro+
8gb memory
windows 10

I have recently upgraded my gpu from a gtx 1050ti to raden vega 64 and all of the videos I have watched show that I should be getting more fps in everygame im still getting low frames plus screen tare even tho I have a 144hz freesync monitor can anybody please help me or tell me why I have such low frames

did you use ddu to uninstall the old driver?
and make sure to use the gpu and not the igpu?

i have no idea what any of the stuff you just said means, could you link me a video or something so I can see how to do it
edit i have done what you said and got an increase of 10-15fps but not for long
