Radeon vs. GF2 MX400

If I will benefit from the change, I am looking at buying the Gainward GF2 MX400 with the 32MB of 4ns SDRAM. I already have an ATI Radeon 32MB DDR card (AIW). I got the Radeon to do some mid-range video editing, but I don't have time to play around with it, so I figured I could sell it and get an MX400 card for about $30 less and save some money. However, I use my machine for gaming and I don't know if the MX400 will offer better or worse performance. My primary concern is that the Radeon has partial DX8 implementation while the MX400 does not.

Please give me your thoughts.

Unless you're going to buy a GF2 GTS/PRO....U may as well stay with the Radeon.

My Radeon LE (as in Le Cheapo Cardo, heh heh), when set to retail specs, matches my overclocked GTS in 3d apps at 32-bit color, plus has more features. Your retail Radeon LE should have faster memory (ie 5.5ns instead of 6ns), so if you want to overclock it, it should beet an overclocked GTS in 32-bit color. The old benchmarks showing the GTS whipping the Radeon were in 16-bit color and lower resolutions, where Hyper-Z has little effect. And those benchmarks need not apply, since most of us use 32-bit color and higher resolutions.
