Hello!
This is my first time ever posting on a forum because usually I am able to find my answer on my own through looking at past forum posts and such, but after a while of searching I cannot find a solution that works for me.
I just built a computer (specs will be linked at the bottom) and it all seemed to work fine. When I started playing games, after a bit of spending time in game my computer would black screen both of my monitors and flicker on and off for about 5 seconds, then displaying a message about the Radeon Wattman crashing and how it restored its settings to the original settings. This tends to happen more frequently after the first occurrence. An example of this would be that I play League of Legends, and nothing is wrong until around 30 minutes into the game when it goes black screen for the first time. Then, after the first time it would happen every couple minutes from then on. One time, when I was trying to figure out a solution, I had the Radeon Settings open when it crashed and an actual crash message came up that the settings had also crashed and needed to close it's window on my computer.
I found a what I thought was a solution online stating that I should download MSI Afterburner and lower the settings basically to the lowest for the Power Limit (%), Core Clock (MHz) and Memory Clock (MHz). I then tested by playing a game, and it all seemed to work fine. But unfortunately when I turned on my computer the next time the crash that usually happens while playing a game happened right when my computer turned on. I tested with changing settings and restarting my computer and it tended to happen whenever I kept the settings that the 'solution' told me to do. So now I'm stuck in a situation where I can either get a black screen and a crash message when I turn on my computer or when I'm playing a game. I don't know what to do and I really want to find a solution. I also have updated my drivers many times, but that doesn't seem to be the issue unless the drivers I am downloading from the AMD for the R9 Fury are just incorrect.
