Radeon x1950xt Question

So, the other day I got my new Sapphire Radeon x1950xt. I installed the drivers and noticed that the drivers (and powerstrip) are reporting that the card is running at 500MHz core and 594MHz mem. These clocks seem really low as I was expecting the card to be running at 625MHz core and 900MHz mem. Now my question is: are these the correct clocks for this card?

2D clocks...

When you run a game, they run at the rated speeds. It's perfectly normal.

Thanks. If I overclock the card in 2D mode does the card also get overclocked in 3D mode? and by how much?
