I have a Sentey Blackbox Bx1-4237 v2.2, and I bought a Zalman LQ320 assuming that it would fit where the rear fan goes. Turns out it doesn't fit, the mounting holes are too close to the side of the motherboard I/O panel. I also don't think I can fit it on the top, as my VRM heatsinks are in the way on the fan slot closest to the back, and blocked by the RAM on the slot furthest. I was also wondering if putting the rad outside could work, but I have no idea how liquid coolers work. My case has grommets on the back, but I'm not sure if I could take the tubes off the pump or whatever. Any thoughts?

Solution
You can mount the radiator outside the case.. You just have to figure out how to mount it, have airflow running over it an figure out how your going to run the tubing
