I NEEED help on installing the radiator I have an black Ice version with an 120mm fan i want to install it outside my cas I have a chieftec case entry-tower size, should I put the fan behind the raditor or in front of it, should it pull or push air? and what tools shoul I use to Mod? and the back of my case has 2 80mm fan grills should I twke em off

well, the push or pull debate usually leads to ppl saying pull, to you can put the fan in front of the radiator. as for mounting it, the black-ice manufacturer's website shows a good installation guide when putting it on an 80mm fan mount, using some screws and a 120mm fan guard (all you do is screw the 120mm fan guard onto the case using the holes there already (screw into the smaller rings), but place 4 screws facing outwards in the holes meant for a 120mm fan), then once the fan guard is on the case, just screw on the radiator. now, thats kinda the easy way out i guess, but otherwise you'll need to cut out a chunk of case to attatch the radiator (prefferably at the top)... use a dremel or a hole saw, cut out a 120mm hole, drill out the appropriately spaced-out holes and then screw on the radiator from the inside and voila!

When someone sells you a computer with an ECS mobo, they're ripping you off - when someone sells you a system with no case fan, they're just an idiot

i think you get slightly better performance if the fan is pushing air through from the front.
But i dont think it makes all that much difference.

Now can someone explain how we ever got the idea that baby bunnies lay multicolored eggs made of chocolate in our living rooms?"
