So I have a fresh install of iRO, Visual C++ 2008 and Visual C++ 6.0 runtimes. I can patch with no issues, and don't get any error message when I load the game. However, the cursor doesn't move properly, and the screen doesn't seem to refresh properly. If I put another window in front of the RO window and then switch back, the RO window will refresh.

I have tried all three of the graphics options in the loader, fullscreen behaves even worse. I have tried with virtual desktop enabled and a bunch of other options on and off.

I'm running OSX 10.5.8, with Crossover Games 10.0.

Any help would be really awesome. Thanks :)

Thanks for the links, jparshall.

After a bunch of screwing around, I figured it out. I had to emulate a virtual desktop for the RO bottle, and set RO to fullscreen. Can't believe it took me so long to figure that out. Derp.
Ok, I've made a little progress. Turns out I need version 9.2 of Crossover Games to run RO. Now I get similar results, but if I minimise the window and restore it, I can actually see the interface, but it is extremely buggy, and there is a horizontal mirroring effect, ie, the bottom half of the screen is reflected onto the top half of the screen. Really weird stuff.

Anyone have any ideas?

You might want to check our Compatibility database here: http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=86;tips=1

Among other things, there's a link to a set of instructions for CrossOver 10.0 that might be of use, here: http://forums.warpportal.com/index.php?/topic/301-how-to-play-ragnarok-online-on-mac-os-x/

You can always get ahold of our support folks, too. They may not have answers for your issues, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck!
