RAID-0 --- 2,3,4 way benifits

im just wanting to know if there is much of a speed difference between having striping between 3 or 4 drives instead of 2 with ide hardware raid ?

does anyone know any reviews on this (not the software windows 2000 one) and could they post a link please.

Four drives should have 4 times the highest sustained transfer rate as 1. Remember that your limmited to the maximum speed of the controller and that drives normally transfer between 30 and 45 MB/s (sustainable), so 3 might be all you need to fill the bandwidth.
