RAID 0 HDD not showing.

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a second RAID 0 array.

The issue that I'm currently having is that once I switch from AHCI mode in the BIOS to RAID only one of the two HDDs that I'm trying to use in the array will show. I'm able to boot from an existing RAID 0 set up that I have. From here, when I go into windows to view the disks I can see only one of the two disks at any given time.

Hi,

I've recently purchased two new HDDs to go along side my current RAID set up.
Upon connecting the drives to the computer only one of the new HDDs will show up at a given time. I can plug either one in on their own and they will work, if I however plug both of them in at the same time, only one will show up.

I've checked the BIOS and both of the drives are showing up in the BIOS. When loading into windows, my machine shows the current RAID configuration through the Intel Rapid Storage Technology splash screen, when both drives are plugged in, only one will appear on this splash screen, despite both showing as connected in the BIOS.

UPDATE:
I've since switched to AHCI mode in the BIOS. Since then all of my drives are showing up as boot options. In my BIOS I am unable to individually change which drives use RAID / AHCI.
