Ok I recently decided to try out raid 0 and bought 2 more 120gb ssd's to run instead of just a single 120gb ssd. (got a good deal on them) I originally wanted to hook up the 2 new 120gb and configure them to run in raid 0 then clone my original ssd over to the raid setup. This is proving to be very difficult. The motherboard is a Asrock z77 Pro3.

I can get the UEFI to recognize all 3 drives and I can change it to read Raid instead of ahci or ide. I can even get to the raid utility setup menu that so many others have trouble getting to using ctrl+i. Im able to make the new Volume in the raid menu and select the 2 drives that I would like to use in Raid 0.The real trouble comes after setting everything up and then trying to boot. If I don't touch any buttons it will take me to a screen that says Windows couldn't load.........please choose repair or start windows normally. If I choose start windows normally it repeats the cycle. If I choose to let windows repair itself it fails and then powers off.

Anyway im confused as to what I'm doing wrong here and don't understand why it wont boot from the normal ssd. I can hit "delete" and even choose which volume to boot from but that doesnt help either. It just refuses to function until i change the UEFI option to anything other than Raid.

Thanks for your help and patience in advance.
