raid 0 on ram drives

hi just wana know is it possible and is it worth setting up 2 (identicle) 8gb ram units in raid 0 ???

Don't know if it is possible, but it certainly would not be worth it.
Ram access is already as fast as you can get assuming you are in dual channel mode.

It would only be worth doing if:
A) Each RAM drive were on a separate memory module and
B) The modules that the RAM drives are on are not already interleaved (RAM defaults into a raid 0 mode when you have an even number of sticks)
Realistically, even if you could guarantee the above, the CPU overhead very well could cause it to be even slower than 1 big RAM drive.

k here's the sitch, im building my first build it my self system this week so any help welcom, if i install the 2 ram drives will they automatically run in dual channel mode ?
