what will be the precentage increase in speed for 2x120GB sATA drives working as one drive under Raid0, versus 1x240GB sATA drive ?

> how come no increase in loading times and bootup time?

Because these are random read access patterns and depend heavily on seek time. Seek times cannot be influenced by RAID hence it makes no difference. Actually that's not quite true, the extra controller overhead time can reduce seek time in a RAID setup.

Actually, I do see improvement in boot time and program lunch with my RAID0 array compared to a single disk setup. I did try both and get back to RAID0.
