Question Raid 1 external enclosure recommendation?

After another hdd crash on my desktop PC, I want to set up a mirrored drive using 2 identical SSD drives. I need about 2T of storage.

I also prefer these 2 drives be housed in an external enclosure, so if there is a fire, I can grab the enclosure and run instead of trying to take the whole PC.

Could someone point me to some such devices, the most reliable ones or popular ones, to get started?

Besides this purported RAID 1, what is your real backup situation?

So far it's just manual backup once in a while, to an external USB drive.
I'm going to look into automatic cloud backup but that's a different topic.
