Question RAID 1 for boot disk (C)

Hello,
Does it make sense to run 2 SSD's in RAID1?
The purpose of the question above is for backup the boot drive (Disk C) on Windows 7 with Software RAID.

You can do it, but I'm not that crazy about the idea. The biggest issue with boot disks is file corruption. If you are running the drives mirrored, then any corruption will probably be copied to both drives. If you are a normal user, I would go with a solution that takes a drive image once a week or something. Keep maybe 2-3 old images.
