Hi all- I'm transferring parts from one comp to another and ran into a problem last night I hope someone can help with.

I unplugged my RAID while it was running, then plugged it back in (hot swappable) by accident, then Intel RST rebuilt the volume over the next 4 hours.

My Asus z97 mobo recognizes the RAID volume, and so does Intel RST, but Windows 7 disk manager does not. I tried 'rescanning' and nothing showed. Everything was working fine until I unplugged one of the HDDs.

RAID volume is configured at the sata port level, and the during POST the Intel RAID config screen recognizes both HDDs and the volume.

Setup:

  • -Windows 7 Ultimate, fully updated
    -Asus Z97 board
    -Segate 3tb NAS drives/list]

    Thanks for your help!

Any help greatly appreciated here. The volume has data, and Intel RST is showing everything as active and working. Windows will not recognize the volume in disk manager, and no settings in BIOS have changed since the event happened.
