Just a quick stupid question, if I want to use 4 M.2 drives in Raid 10, will it still use 16 PCIE lanes like normal in Raid 10? Thanks.

I'm running out of space on my current M.2s and I have 2 other identical M.2s I can use. I don't want to put my GPU running in 8 lanes because I've had some issues with that.
RAID 10 has nothing to do with adding space.

If you have enough ports, just add these other drives.
Yes, they will be other drive letters, but without the complextity of the RAID 1 + RAID 0 foolishness.

read carefully the manual of your motherboard. it usually says what are the drawbacks of using x and y ports together. take your time.
Or else you can try on a very specialized forum like overclock.net, check if a topic exists for your motherboard, and do your research here.
