Raid 5 degrade, need help!

Solution
Well..I doubt anyone will go through all those pics trying to determine what parts you have.
I know I won't.

4 drives, in RAID 5, with 1.38TB usable space leads to these are 500GB drives?

One more time...a full parts list, please.
Including which OS this is, and what (if any) hardware RAID controller.

ANd this:
"...but when 2 fails you "need" to got to a data recovery service"

...Is NOT true. There are easy and cheap ways to protect your data.
You are giving way too little information... CS:GO has nothing to do there
Is this ready-made PC, or custom-made?
What is inside your PC? How are there 4 drives connected? Is there add-on RAID controller?

If you can't answer these questions - take couple of pictures inside and out, post them somewhere, and provide links.

Update, It just booted into windows for some reason, took about 1 min to load the windows logo (win 7)
Im shutting it down to see if the computer is reading it as degraded but now its installing a update.

I have done some research, Raid 5 needs 3 drives, 1 can fail, but when 2 fails you "need" to got to a data recovery service, and raid 6 is like raid five but used 6 drives and can have 2 fail. The pc was put together by my grandpa.

I had it set up last year, and just have steam, and corsair engine so I can reinstall everything if needed and I just use it to game.
I am in high school and they supply macbooks and that it what I use for school and videos.

OK.
I still think that one of the drives is dead or dying.

What, specifically, is showing you this "degraded"?

And...sorry to say....software RAID 5 is a really, really bad idea.

If it were me (and I have grandkids your age), I would rebuild this thing completely. Without the RAID 5.

NOOOO!!!!!!

No RAID at all. None.
Unless you wish to invest in a hardware RAID controller. Which you do not want to do.

RAID 5 is fine. It has its place. My NAS box is a RAID 5.
For you use, in that collection of parts...no. Not RAID 0, not 1, not 5....none.

Nope, all wrong.

For you RAID of any kind is a *bad* idea -- just listen to USAFRet and read about it but don't do it.

Raid5 is quite useful if you have the proper hardware, knowledge, and backup (since RAID is only redundant storage and not protection from loss of data).
