Hi,

I have two samsung F3 1TB in raid1 & a ocz vertex 3 120GB

When i installed windows 7 on my ssd i have bios set to RAID, will this affect my SSD?

i want it in AHCI but i need to keep my raid incase my ssd fails

Please advise if this will affect my ssd performance

Thanks :)

No, RAID in the bios will not negatively effect its performance. The real question is whether automatic TRIM will happen. I would check to see if the Samsung SSD management software will do a manual TRIM -- if so, just do one occasionally and you will be sure all is well.
