Hello people

I want to move/clone my boot partition from a raid 0 array to a single drive. I have been using the windows 7 backup utility to create a system image but when I tried to restore this image on the new single drive it says it's not possible. Then I tried to clone my raid drives but the cloning software sees the two drives separately not as a single drive. The raid drives and single drive are both 240 gb. Is this possible ?

First, why would you do such a thing? RAID0 SSDs ROCK! And second, as popasumming said, If the system image is more than 240GB how are you make it fit in a 240GB SSD? Are you gonna get it on a diet or something?

I got it to work. Intel provides a system migration tool just not on the mini DVD included with their ssds. As far as ssd raid 0 performance goes I don't think it makes much of a difference. I was running a two 120gb hyperx raid 0 array now it's just one intel 240gb 520 and I think the intel drive is snappier. I'll see how fast photoshop and autocad load. The hyperx drives were really fast at first so fast the photoshop logo would flash by then they slowed down to 3-4 secs.
