I'm looking into setting up a 4 x 3TB RAID 5 array using a RAID controller card, possibly this one. My question is: in the future, would I be able to add another drive or two to the array and be able to resize the volume's size to incorporate the new disks? I.e. if the array starts out as a 4 x 3TB RAID 5 (so roughly 9TB of usable space) and I add two more 3TB drives, would I be able to expand the volume to be 15TB? Most notably, this would have to happen with the data remaining on the drives and not performing a new array build/rebuild. Is this possible at all and does the card I'm looking into support such a feature? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you would.

Click on the "Details" tab of the RAID controller card you linked to. One of the listed features of the card is "Online Capacity Expansion", which is what you wish to do.
