[SOLVED] Raid controller help!

Okay! So I’m running a low budget system (i7 3770 on Asus P8H77-V LE). The MB has 6 SATA ports, only two of which are SATA 3. I’ve got two raids running (0 and 5) and all of my drives are SATA 3 compatible
My question is: can I get a raid controller for PCIe 2.0 that will actually achieve the 6GB/s speeds?

So raid because I want MORE lol
I have two 1 tb hdd in raid 0 for faster storage
I have 3 125 gb ssd in raid 5 for fast n’ secure os

3x 120/128GB SSD in RAID 5 for the OS volume?

While there are worse configurations I could come up with....there are not many of those.


RAID 5 + SSD is not 'fast n secure'. Especially for the volume where your OS lives.
