RAID in XP

I recently installed XP and am trying to get it to recognize my RAID Array. It shows up in the device manager as there and functioning however, I cannot access it and it doesn't show up in "my computer". If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I installed the lastet Fastrak driver for it and the RAID bios shows it functioning fine.

My system:

Asus A7V266-E
Athon 1700+
(2) WD 30 GB 7200 RPM (RAID)
(1) WD 60 GB 7200 RPM (OS-XP)

have you defined the raid config?

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.

Have u formatted it so XP can recognize it?

Have you created & formated a partition on the RAID array in the "Disk Management" portion of the "Computer Management" app? It won't show up until you do.

I thought a thought, but the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I had thought.

I tried to find it in the disk management app and it wasn't listed. It is listed in my device manager though. Whats up with that? How do I format the array if I can't find it in the disk mangagement app? Thanks for your replies.

Try FDISK next time u restart...

How do I format it if I cannot find the drive? When I load fdisk I don't have an option to format the RAID ARRAY because it is not listed.

Are there any particular jumpers on the motherboard that need set to enable the RAID configuration - just a thought

right click my computer, click manage, then under storage click disk management, if you still dont know what to do god help us all. or just come back here.
