With all these new motherboards coming out with hardware RAID on them I have a question. A friend of mine got into an argument about RAID 0. If I have two hard drives of X space each, and I put them into a RAID 0 setup, how much space do I have? 2X or just X?
I would think that I would have 2X space with greater access speed. If this is wrong, please let me know why.
