Hi Guys, I've been using freeraidrecovery software on my personal broken NAS storage hard drive.
I manage to get the correct raid configuration on the first scanning but due to forgeting to insert another extra 4tb drive i need to redo.
On the second scanning, physicaldrive0 somehow broken caused the scanning very slow then i re-run using the missing physicaldrive stated from my first scanning result. While the third scanning told me that the raid 5 configuration is incorrec, any advise?

#00: Disk 3 - Hitachi HUA721010KLA330, Serial number F002PBK4M8WF, \\.\PhysicalDrive3
#01: Missing disk, to be reconstructed using RAID5 redundancy
#02: Disk 0 - Hitachi HUA721010KLA330, Serial number F002PBK4NE3F, \\.\PhysicalDrive0
#03: Disk 4 - Hitachi HUA721010KLA330, Serial number F002PBK4NDLF, \\.\PhysicalDrive4
#04: Disk 2 - Hitachi HUA721010KLA330, Serial number F002PBK3GN8F, \\.\PhysicalDrive2

Can you retrieve a SMART report for each of your drives? This will give you some indication as to their physical health (ie reallocated, pending or uncorrectable sectors).

How did HDD #01 fail? Does it still spin up?
Thanks for your suggestion, I run few SMART exam found I'm using faulty SATA cable!
