I have a wiebetech RTX400-QR (A usb raid box) with 4 drives 2 tb in it. The drive is should be reporting to the OS around 6tb of space but it is only reporting 12gb. the drive says it has 23969850 sectors available but the partition table says the partiton starts at sector 264192 and goes to 11720787487.

Obviously the drive is not working properly. i can run ontrack or another program on it but can only recover the first 12gb of data. Everything else is unaccessable.

PLEASE HELP

Thanks
Chris

Welcome to the TH community, Chris!

Can you please share what is the RAID array configuration of your RAID box device? It's possible that one of the drives is corrupted, so I'd advise you to test them all using the manufacturer's HDD diagnostic tool. It will help you determine the health and SMART status of each hard drive. In case you are unable to find such a utility on their website, you can refer to this thread for some decent third-party testing tool suggestions: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

Give it a try and let me know how it goes! :)
