Raid Stripe 0 doing weird things...

Hi community,

This is the second time this has happened to me (in two days). I turned on my pc to see that my Raid 0 array was "Failed". In my documents I could see the drive and the folders, which were "corrupted". So I restarted my pc to find that the Raid status was "OK". After reboot, all files were suddenly un-corrupted!

Does anyone on this forum have a clue what my pc is doing!
NB: I have two Crucial 120GB SSD's RAID 0

1 of your drives may be starting to die, and may not be coming up as fast(quick) as it should - so the raid controller can't synch the drives. I would get a backup, and remove the raid - raid 0 on ssd's don't increase real performance.

Your theory seems pretty logical, considering that one drive is one year older than the other.

The SSD completely died days later 😀
