So I'm having a vastly complex problem with my computer right now, and the raid I've got seems to be making it more difficult. Here is an overview of the issue:
When loading winXP Pro SP3 explorer.exe crashes giving the error "explorer.exe failed to initialize properly (0xc00000005)" (even in safe mode)
So repairing windows seemed like the first logical step, so when I went to do that, setup couldn't detect any hard drives. So on the next attempt I had my raid driver disk (straight from mobo manufacturer's website) Setup could not find the drivers on the disk I made. I ended up trying several disks, swapped out 3 different floppy drives just in case, and still wouldn't accept the fact I had the right disk.

So is what I'm currently wondering is why can't I repair the windows xp install on my raid 0.

Specs:
I currently have 2 WD 250gb drives in the raid 0, using the nvidia raid controller.
mobo is an Asus M2N4-SLI
AMD64 2200+ Dual Core (cool & quiet line)
nvida Geforce 7600 GS
3gb ram (manufacturer approved)
WIndowsXP Pro with SP3.

Any help or direction towards help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
