RAID0 restore from AHCI backup?

Hello,
I was thinking of going RAID0 with my SSD's now that I have a NAS setup for redundancy. Right now I have a system image of my single AHCI SSD on the NAS. Is it possible to setup RAID0 and restore the single SSD image onto the array?

Asus Gene V and 8.1

Switch firstly to RAID in BIOS, boot in safe mode and let Windows installing the RAID drivers. Reboot in normal mode and see if working. If yes, make the image and then proceed with creating the RAID array.
